Abstract:
Rollers provided with a retainer having improved lubrication performance. The rollers provided with a retainer are configured in such a manner that the rollers (3) are housed in respective pockets (2) circumferentially arranged in the hollow circular cylindrical shaped retainer (1), and that each pocket (2) of the retainer (1) has ridges (4, 5) for preventing the roller from coming out of position, the ridges (4, 5) being provided at opening edges on the inner diameter side and outer diameter side of side surfaces of the pocket (2) so as to face each other circumferentially. Also, each pocket (2) is provided with roller guide surfaces (6) for guiding the roller (3) and located at axial positions different from the positions of the ridges (4, 5) on the side surfaces of the pocket (2), that is, for example, at axial positions on the outer side.
