Abstract:
Provided are a rolling bearing cage which is rarely worn away from the beginning of sliding and on the surface of which a film that neither peels off nor dissolves even in lubricating oil containing a sulfur-based additive agent and the like is formed, and a rolling bearing provided therewith. A cage (2) holds a needle rollers (3) that are each a rolling element in a needle roller bearing (1), a tin alloy film having a predetermined film thickness and produced from tin and a metal other than tin is formed at least on a slide contact surface with the needle rollers (3) and a slide contact surface with other members within the outer surface of the cage (2), the metal other than tin is a metal having smaller surface free energy than iron, and in the tin alloy film, the weight ratio between tin and the metal (tin and the metal other than tin) is 65:35 to 95:5.
