A method according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises attaching an annular seal, by welding, to a bearing part that is provided with an outer ring, an inner ring, and rolling elements. The seal has an annular metal core 41 which is made from stainless steel and which is attached to a side surface 25 of an outer ring 20 by welding, and a rubber lip which is fixed to a portion, of the metal core 41, on the inner ring side via an adhesive 50 provided on the entire metal core 41. A state where the metal core 41 overlaps the side surface 25 is generated, and laser welding is performed from a front surface 44a of the metal core 41 such that a joined surface J is formed between the side surface 25 and the metal core 41. In the welding step, before metal surrounding the joined surface J between the metal core 41 and the outer ring 20 is melted, the adhesive 50 present on the joined surface J is decomposed with welding heat because the metal core 41 is made from stainless steel.
