Provided is a rolling bearing which can be effectively prevented from undergoing early stripping associated with hydrogen brittleness under the conditions where the rolling bearing is used and which can be used for a long period of time. The rolling bearing 1 is provided with an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, multiple balls 4 arranged between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3, and a lubricant composition 7 filled around the multiple balls 4, wherein the lubricant composition 7 is a lubricant oil or a grease each comprising a base oil and an alkanol amine, the alkanol amine is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by mass relative to the whole amount of the lubricant oil when the lubricant composition is a lubricant oil and is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10 parts by weight relative to the total amount, i.e., 100 parts by weight, of the base oil and a thickening agent when the lubricant composition is a grease, at least one bearing member selected from the inner ring 2, the outer ring 3 and the balls 4 is made from a steel material, and the steel material has a hydrogen diffusion coefficient of less than 2.6 × 10-11 m2/s.
