Abstract:
A rolling bearing comprising: a steel outer ring; a steel inner ring having a center axis shared with the outer ring and arranged on the inner peripheral side of the outer ring; and a plurality of rolling elements arranged so as to be able to roll on the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring and the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring. The outer ring includes a first outer ring and a second outer ring fixed to the first outer ring while being arranged in alignment with the first outer ring in a first axial direction in which the center axis extends, and the inner ring includes a first inner ring and a second inner ring fixed to the first inner ring while being arranged in alignment with the first inner ring in the first axial direction. In the outer ring, protruding portions formed on one of the first outer ring and the second outer ring and through holes formed on the other in correspondence to the protruding portions are fitted with each other in a portion where the first outer ring and the second outer ring face each other. In the inner ring, protruding portions formed on one of the first inner ring and the second inner ring and through holes formed on the other in correspondence to the protruding portions are fitted with each other in a portion where the first inner ring and the second inner ring face each other. This rolling bearing is provided with slits in the periphery of any one or both of the protruding portion and the through hole.
