Abstract:
Provided is a rolling cylinder-type positive displacement compressor comprising: an orbiting piston having a slide groove; a rolling cylinder having a cylinder groove; a stationary cylinder having an affixed pin; a piston orbiting drive source which is a drive source for the orbiting motion of the orbiting piston; a drive transmission section for connecting the orbiting piston and the piston orbiting drive source; a frame through which the drive transmission section extends; and a casing incorporating the orbiting piston, the rolling cylinder, the stationary cylinder, the piston orbiting drive source, and the drive transmission section and having an oil storage section. The orbiting piston, the rolling cylinder, and the stationary cylinder constitute a compression section. A suction chamber and a compression chamber, which are two spaces separated by the orbiting piston fitted in the cylinder groove, are formed between the rolling cylinder and the stationary cylinder. Operating fluid within the compression chamber is adapted to be brought to a discharge pressure by the movement of the orbiting piston. The affixed pin is fitted in the slide groove and has a pin slide oil supply passage for supplying oil within the oil storage section to the affixed pin and the slide groove. The rolling cylinder-type positive displacement compressor is configured so that the pressure of oil supplied to the affixed pin and the slide groove, the pressure being measured at the outlet of the pin slide oil supply passage, is higher than or equal to the discharge pressure. As a result, lubricating oil can be always reliably supplied to the sliding section of the compression section of the rolling cylinder-type positive displacement compressor to prevent the wear of the sliding section, thereby improving the reliability of the compressor.
