Abstract:
A rolling roll motor driver enabling maximization of rolling ability and improvement of
the amount of speed drop by making most of the torques which the motors can output when
a material is bitten. The driver comprises an upper motor speed controller for
acquiring an upper motor torque current reference from the difference between the
upper motor actual rotational speed and an upper motor speed reference, an upper
motor torque current limiter and a current controller for controlling the torque
of the upper motor, a lower motor rotational speed controller for acquiring a
lower motor torque current reference from the difference between the lower motor
actual rotational speed and a lower motor rotational speed reference, a lower
motor torque current limiter and a current controller for controlling the torque
of the lower motor, and a torque distribution control section which is provided
between the upper and lower motor rotational speed controllers and the upper
and lower motor torque current limiters, compares the upper and lower motor torque
current references with the torque current limit value, and adds, if the upper
or lower torque current reference exceeds the torque current limit value, the
excess amount to the other torque current reference.
