Abstract:
A roof bolt (10) for imbedding in plastic mortar has an elongated metallic shaft provided with a fastening thread (22) at its outward end area in relation to the bore and with paddle-like projections at its end area inside the bore. The fastening thread (22) extends only over an outer partial section (16) of the shaft. A rougher, left-handed thread (24) having a higher pitch than the fastening thread (22) is arranged at the inner end section (20) of the shaft inside the bore. The paddle-like projections (26) project from the shaft in the area of the left-handed thread (24).
