Abstract:
To promote appropriate use of a toilet booth by making it possible to detect the presence or absence of a human body in the toilet booth and to issue a warning against exclusive use to a person in the toilet booth, provided is a roof-space-hidden device 1 for preventing long occupation of a toilet booth, the device 1 including: a detecting means 2 for detecting a human body in a toilet booth B; an alerting means 3 for outputting an audio alert in the toilet booth B; a control unit 4 that controls the output of the alert by the alerting means 3 according to the detection of the human body by the detecting means 2; and a casing 5. The, detecting means 2 is implemented by a Doppler sensor that radiates microwaves that are transmitted through a ceiling member C and that detects biological information about the human body in the toilet booth B on the basis of the Doppler effect, and the control means 4 counts the occupation time of the toilet booth on the basis of the biological information about the human body detected by the detecting means 2 and controls the alerting means 3 to output the alert when the occupation time of the toilet booth exceeds a predetermined time.
