Abstract:
Provided is a roofing material offering excellent workability when laid on an underlying roofing or the like and making it possible to prevent a decline in the waterproofness of the roof. Substantially planar roofing material bodies (1) are arranged so as to be adjacent. A side end of one roofing material body (1) is laid overlapping with another roofing material body (1). An inclined piece (2) formed at a downward incline is provided to a side edge part (1a) of the roofing material bodies (1). The distal end of the inclined piece (2) (the inclined piece distal end (2a)) is made by being formed so as to abut along the downwardly flexed surface of the roofing material body (1) disposed below.
