Abstract:
A ridge tile member (3), a placing member (19) and a corrugated tile member (25), which constitute a roofing tile member (1), are so manufactured of a light alloy as has a hollow portion or as forms a hollow portion, when the roof is constructed, together with either a roof backing member such as a roof board (N) or an upper cover member. The roofing tile member (1) is preferably made of a magnesium-group alloy. The roofing tile member (1) is enabled, in case it is manufactured by an extrusion method, to have transverse sections of various shapes by changing the kind of an extrusion die. A heating pipe is inserted into the hollow portion of the roofing tile member (1), and a heating medium heated by a heat pump unit is fed to circulate in the heating pipe. Then, the heat generated by the heating medium is transferred to the heating pipe so that it is further transferred from the heating pipe to the roofing tile member (1). As a result, the snow accumulated on the roofing tile member (1) is quickly melted.
