Abstract:
A rooftop air conditioner and a control method therefor, aiming at solving the problem of water leakage caused by a gap generated between an existing rooftop parking air conditioner and a vehicle body due to chassis deformation that is prone to occur after the existing rooftop parking air conditioner is installed. The rooftop air conditioner comprises a housing. A deformation detection device is provided on a bottom plate of the housing. The rooftop air conditioner further comprises a controller and a reminding device. The deformation detection device and the reminding device are both communicationally connected to the controller. If the deformation detection device on the bottom plate of the housing detects that the bottom plate deforms, the controller controls the reminding device to send prompt information so that relevant personnel knows the deformation of the bottom plate of the housing of the rooftop air conditioner, so as to take a corresponding measure to eliminate the deformation of the bottom plate of the housing, thereby avoiding the occurrence of water leakage at a vehicle roof, and optimizing user experience of a user.
