Abstract:
Provided is a room entry/exit management system that requires no additional equipment for detecting a user and enables inhibiting a user from exiting from a managed area without having an identification object. This room entry/exit management system is provided with: an identification object detection unit that is disposed outside the managed area around a doorway thereto so as to detect an identification object present within a detection range; a notification unit that is disposed around the doorway to the managed area; a door status detection unit that detects the opened/closed state of a door which is disposed at the doorway to the managed area; and a control unit that causes the notification unit to issue an alarm in the case where no identification object has been detected by the identification object detection unit when the door status detection unit detects a change from a door-closed state to a door-open state.
