Abstract:
The invention concerns a rope knotting device for the securing of pairs of rope sections which have at least one connection point (7) of rope sections (2,3) which have been brought together and originate from at least one rope (1), whereby each respective connection point (7) is connectable via a rope connector (15), which has at least two connectors (16, 35), and which by means of a rivet (37) of a rivet connection are connectable to each other, whereby the rivet (37) at least in part extends along a recess (18). By virtue of the fact that the rivet (37) of the two connectors connects at least in part with of one of the two connectors (35) and the head (38) of the free end of the rivet (37), when the rivet connection has been made, protrudes into an extended receptor (21) which borders on the recess (18), the rivet head can be dispensed with entirely and the other rivet head is integral into the extended receptor in such a manner that, without any great degree of protrusion, the rivet head is actually an integrated component of the other connector.
