Abstract:
Elevator equipment, comprising a rope for elevator having inner layer ropes including a plurality of inner layer strands formed by twisting a plurality of steel wires, resin inner layer cover body covering the outer peripheries of the inner layer ropes, and an outer layer installed on the outer peripheral part of the inner layer cover body and including a plurality of outer layer strands formed by twisting a plurality of steel wires, wherein the contact face of a rope groove in a drive sheave with the rope for elevator is formed of a high friction resin material.
