Abstract:
A rope for safety belt in which shrinkage of the rope body can be enhanced. Since the rope for safety belt employs high strength, high elastic modulus fibers having modulus of elasticity in tension not lower than 340 g&sol d in the core material (11a) in order to reduce elongation of the core material (11a) extremely, variation in the shape of the core material (11a) due to elongation can be prevented surely and the shrunk coil part can be restored to a specified length at all times.
