Abstract:

In a rotary compressor according to an embodiment, the axial thickness of a partition plate is less than the axial thickness of a first flange part and the axial thickness of a second flange part. The area of a portion of an end face of a first roller that is on a partition-plate side and that can be exposed in a shaft hole is Sc1. The area of a portion of an end face of the first roller that is on the first-flange-part side and that can be exposed in an inside region on the outer periphery of a first groove part is Se1. At this time, 1 < Sc1/Sel ≤ 1.6 is established. The area of a portion of an end face of a second roller that is on the partition-plate side and that can be exposed in the shaft hole is Sc2. The area of a portion of an end face of the second roller that is on the second-flange-part side and that can be exposed in an inside region on the outer periphery of a second groove part is Se2. At this time, 1 < Sc2/Se2 ≤ 1.6 is established. A solid lubricant film is formed on a first surface of the first flange part and a second surface of a second flange part.
