Abstract:
A rotary compressor has: a crankshaft provided with an eccentrically rotating rolling piston; a compression mechanism having a cylinder for accommodating the rolling piston, the compression mechanism also having a primary bearing and a secondary bearing, which support the crankshaft and which are affixed to the cylinder, the compression mechanism further having a vane disposed in the cylinder and pressed against the rolling piston, the compression mechanism compressing a gas refrigerant in a space surrounded by the cylinder, the primary bearing, the secondary bearing, the vane, and the rolling piston; a closed container for accommodating the crankshaft and the compression mechanism; and a partition body disposed within the closed container and separating refrigeration machine oil contained in gas refrigerant discharged from the compression mechanism. The partition body has: a sloped surface for allowing the separated refrigeration machine oil to move toward the vane under gravity; and a supply section for supplying to the vane the refrigeration machine oil having moved toward the vane.
