Abstract:
This rotary compressor has: a closed, vertically disposed, circular cylindrical compressor housing which is provided with a refrigerant discharge section and a refrigerant suction section, and the lower part of which contains lubricating oil; a compression section which is disposed in the lower part of the compressor housing, compresses a refrigerant having been sucked from the suction section, and discharges the refrigerant from the discharge section; and a motor which is disposed in the upper part of the compressor housing and which drives the compression section. The compression section is provided with an annular cylinder, an upper end plate which closes the upper side of a cylinder, a lower end plate which closes the lower side of the cylinder, a primary bearing section which is provided to the upper plate, a secondary bearing section which is provided to the lower end plate, a rotating shaft which is supported by the primary bearing section and the secondary bearing section and which is rotated by the motor, and an annular piston which is fitted to the eccentric section of the rotating shaft and which revolves along the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to form a cylinder chamber in the cylinder. The inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole of the secondary bearing has formed therein a helical oil supply groove which supplies lubricating oil from the lower end to the upper end of the shaft hole. The oil supply groove is tilted relative to the rotational direction of the rotating shaft and extends from the lower end to the upper end in the rotational direction of the rotating shaft.
