Abstract:
Provided is a compact rotary compressor that suppresses the generation of vibration and noise and is capable of reducing the torque required for an electric motor unit. This rotary compressor comprises: an electric motor unit having a rotating shaft; and a compression mechanism unit. 135°+k×180°<α+β<205°+k×180° is established when: α represents an angle formed by a straight line C, which connects the center (13c) of a rotating shaft and the center (28c) of a vane, and a straight line D, which extends from the center of the rotating shaft in the direction of the smallest permeance distribution; β represents an angle formed by a straight line E, which connects the center of the rotating shaft and the center of a magnet (12b) that generates a magnetic flux radially outward, and a straight line F, which connects the center of the rotating shaft and a point (23c) on an outer diameter section of a piston farthest from the center of the rotating shaft; and k represents a natural number.
