Abstract:
In order to increase the structural strength of the one-way clutch in a rotary damper device equipped with a one-way clutch, a rotary damper (2) has a damper housing (11), and a rotor (12) having rotor blades (28). A one-way clutch (3) has an inner member (35) that is formed as a cylinder having recessed parts (47) and is joined to the outer end of the rotor shaft (29), a cylindrical outer member (36) having at its inner circumference an internally-toothed gear (63), and gears (37) that are housed in the recessed parts (47) and engage the internally-toothed gear. The outer member (36) is capable of rotating only in one direction relative to the inner member (35). The inner member (35) has a bottom plate (41). The outer member (36) has a bottom plate (62) that extends toward the interval between the bottom plate (41) and the damper housing (11).
