Abstract:
A rotary die blade member bending method capable of accurate bending operation in which a straight band−plate−like blade member (1) is deformed over its entire length into a bight shape having a bulging blade tip (12), by computer control, without requiring skill&semi and a rotary die blade member bending device. A compression stretch step is performed in which the band−plate−like blade member (1) is thickness−wise compressed to be longitudinally stretched. In the compression stretch step, the amount of compression of the blade member (1) is gradually increased toward one end edge widthwise of the blade member. The compression stretch application spot is successively moved in one direction longitudinally of the blade member. The compression stretch step is performed by using pressure dies (4, 5).
