A rotary displacement pump equipped with: a pump main body, which has a suction opening and a discharge opening for a transfer fluid, and which introduces the transfer fluid into the interior through the suction opening, and moves the transfer fluid while changing the volume of an internal space in the rotational direction by means of a rotary operation, thereby discharging the transfer fluid from the discharge opening; a port housing equipped with a first port, which communicates with the suction opening of the pump main body and through which the transfer fluid is introduced, and a second port, which communicates with the discharge opening of the pump main body and through which the transfer fluid is discharged; and a rotary drive mechanism wherein a rotating body, which imparts rotary driving force for causing the pump main body to generate pumping action, and which is connected to the pump main body, is housed in the interior of a rear casing. The port housing has a first suction flow path running from the first port to the rear casing, and a second suction flow path running from the rear casing to the suction opening of the pump main body. The first port communicates with the suction opening of the pump main body via the first suction flow path, the interior of the casing, and the second suction flow path.
