Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the component structure used for acquiring the outdoor temperature, and to change the control method for a rotary electric machine according to the ambient temperature. In order to achieve the foregoing, provided is a rotary electric machine assembly comprising a rotary electric machine which includes a housing, a stator which is attached to the housing, a rotor which is fixed to a rotary shaft, a bearing which supports the rotary shaft, and an end bracket to which the bearing is attached. On the outer circumference of the housing, the following are disposed: a power conversion device for supplying driving current to the stator of the rotary electric machine; and a control board for controlling the rotary electric machine via the power conversion device. A temperature detector is provided in the power conversion device in a region in which the power conversion device and the housing come into mutual contact. The control board changes the rotary electric machine control method in accordance with the temperature detected by the temperature detector.
