Abstract:
An electric maschine comprises a stator (12) and a rotor (14). The stator (12) has a stator core (26), and stator windings (28u, 28v, 28w) wound around either the stator core (26) or stator teeth (30). The rotor (14) has a rotor core (16), windings (42n, 42s) wound around either the rotor core (16) or rotor teeth (19), and magnetic auxiliary poles (48) disposed between two rotor teeth (19) being adjacent in circumferential direction. The rotor (14) further comprises diodes (21n, 21s) that cause magnetic characteristics, such as the direction of the induced current, to vary in circumferential direction of the rotor core (16).
