Abstract:
A rotary electric machine according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: a bearing for holding a rotary shaft so that the rotary shaft can rotate; a housing incorporating the bearing; a rotor which rotates while being fixed to the rotary shaft; and a stator that is fixed to the housing, wherein the stator is provided with a stator core having tooth parts that project toward the rotor and that extend along the rotary shaft, a winding wound around the stator core, and a plurality of magnetic detection elements that are attached to an end, in the extending direction of the rotary shaft, of the stator core in such a manner as to be mutually separated in the rotation direction of the rotary shaft.
