Abstract:
Provided is a rotary electric machine driving system that is capable of performing charging/discharging control such that closed circuit voltages of all cells are within upper and lower limit voltages while keeping a vehicle traveling in the event of an abnormality in a battery monitoring device. In the case of this rotary electric machine driving system: a correlation value of an open circuit voltage of each cell with respect to the average value of open circuit voltages of multiple cells (570) is output from a battery monitoring device (510); when an abnormality is detected by an abnormality determination part (810), a battery state estimation unit (800) estimates an open circuit voltage and an internal resistance of each cell (570) on the basis of a correlation value that is input from the battery monitoring device (510) before the detection of the abnormal state and outputs of a current sensor (240) and a voltage sensor (230); and a motor control device (100) controls the torques of a motor (300) on the basis of the open circuit voltage and internal resistance of each cell (570) as estimated by the battery state estimation unit (800).
