Abstract:
This rotary electric machine is provided with: a rotary electric machine body; and a terminal box provided adjacent to the rotary electric machine body and electrically connecting a body-side wire connected to a stator winding and an external-side wire coming from the outside. The terminal box is provided with: a storage conductor having a body-side connection part for connecting the body-side wire, an external-side connection part for connecting the external-side wire, and a connection conductor part for connecting the body-side connection part and the external-side connection part; a box body part (110) having a communication opening which communicates the storage conductor with a storage handling-side opening and a frame, and through which the body-side wire passes; and a lid (120) having an opening closing part (121) formed to be attachable and detachable to the box body part (110) by means of a plurality of bolts (116), so as to block the handling-side opening (114). In a state in which the lid (120) is attached to the box body part (110), the bolts (116) are arranged in a direction in which the head sections (116a) of the bolts (116) are on the frame side when viewed from the lid (120).
