Title:
ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/076045
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a rotary electric machine that achieves high output and simultaneously enhances reluctance torque, reduces stress, and improves a power factor, and an electric vehicle provided with the rotary electric machine. Permanent magnets are disposed on q axes passing between magnetic poles of a rotor. Space is provided in the radial direction of the permanent magnets. Permanent magnets are additionally provided so as to oppose each other with d axes passing through the centers of the magnetic poles of the rotor disposed therebetween, and spaces are provided at the locations of the opposition. Further, the invention is configured such that if first imaginary lines are drawn that coincide with the boundaries of the rotor-core-inner-periphery sides of permanent magnet insertion holes disposed so as to oppose the d axis and second imaginary lines are drawn that are concentric with the inner periphery of the rotor core and come into contact with the first imaginary lines, the second imaginary line closest to the inner periphery has two or more points of contact with the first imaginary lines.
