Abstract:
A stator core (21) having therein field slots (213a) for installing field windings (23) and armature slots (213b) for installing armature windings (24) is provided, and permanent magnets (22) are installed inside the field slots (213a). The field windings (23) face the permanent magnets (22) from both the outer periphery side and the inner periphery side thereof directly or across the stator core (21). Coil ends (24e) of armature windings (24) are configured so as to run across predetermined field slots (213a) and to pass over respective axial end surfaces of the permanent magnets (22) in the field slots (213a).
