Title:
ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/194709
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This rotary electric machine is provided with a stator and a rotor provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the stator. The rotor has: a rotor core in which a plurality of holes are formed so as to be arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotor; and one or more permanent magnets. The number of magnetic poles of the rotor is p that is an even number greater than or equal to 2. The plurality of holes include p/2 first holes in which the permanent magnets are inserted and p/2 second holes in which the permanent magnets are not inserted. The first holes and the second holes are provided so as to be alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. The permanent magnets are magnetized such that magnetic pole surfaces facing each other in the circumferential direction across the second holes have different polarities. The second holes each have a first opening part that is open on the stator side in the radial direction of the rotor.
