Abstract:
This rotary electrical machine comprises: a rotor; a shaft that passes through the rotor along a rotational axis, and that is pivotally supported by a bearing; a stator that accommodates the rotor in the inside; a rotor cover attached to an edge surface in the axial direction of the rotor; and a casing that has a flow path through which an oil is supplied to the bearing. The rotor cover comprises: an oil receiving section that forms a concentric gap together with the shaft, and that receives the oil from the bearing at the gap; and an oil distribution path that connects between the oil receiving section and the edge surface in the axial direction of the rotor. The rotary electrical machine cools the rotor by supplying the oil guided to the gap to the oil distribution path by centrifugal force.
