Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary engine comprising: a housing; a rotor; a housing cover; and a crankshaft provided to penetrate the rotor, and receiving rotating power from the rotor, wherein the crankshaft includes: a first member formed to extend in one direction, and having an insertion groove formed to be recessed from one side surface thereof; a second member formed to extend so as to penetrate a center portion of the housing, and having a protruding part formed at one end thereof and fitted and fixed in the insertion groove; and a coupling member for bringing the first member and the second member into close contact with each other since the insertion groove and the protruding part are disposed at overlapping positions, thereby having an improved structure of the split-type crankshaft.
