Abstract:
A rotary expansion machine (60), comprising two rotary mechanism parts (70) and (80) having displacements different from each other, wherein the outflow side of the first rotary mechanism part (70) with small displacement is connected to the inflow side of the second rotary mechanism part (80) with large displacement. The volume decreasing process of the first low pressure chamber (74) of the first rotary mechanism part (70) is in synchronism with the volume increasing process of the second high-pressure chamber (83) of the second rotary mechanism part (80). High-pressure refrigerant is first led into the first high-pressure chamber (73) of the first rotary mechanism part (70), and then flows from the first low pressure chamber (74) into the second high-pressure chamber (83) through a communication passage (64) while expanding. The refrigerant after expansion flows from the second low-pressure chamber (84) of the second rotary mechanism part (80) to an outflow port (35).
