Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary feedthrough for the transfer of flowable media between a stationary (50) and a rotating machine part (60), comprising a non-rotatable feedthrough housing (1) and a rotatable shaft (2) that extends through the feedthrough housing and has axial and radial holes (3) for the transfer of flowable media, wherein the shaft has a first shaft end (2') that can be permanently connected to a rotatable machine part (60) and a second shaft end (2") that is accessible on the side of the feedthrough housing (1) facing away from the rotatable machine section (60) for the attachment of at least one additional element rotatable with the shaft (2), wherein the feedthrough housing (1) has elements with radial supply holes and bearing elements (4) by means of which the feedthrough housing (1) is supported on the shaft (2). According to the invention, in order to design a rotary feedthrough of the type mentioned above such that both fluids and electrical signals can be transferred from the stationary machine part to the rotating machine part or vice versa, the second shaft end (2") is also connected to an electric rotary feedthrough which has a contact ring that is coaxially aligned with the shaft, the contact elements or countercontacts thereof which are rotatable with the shaft are connected to a first part of a plug connection by means of a cable, wherein the first part of the plug connection can be assembled together with a matching second part of the plug connection, the face end thereof being attached on or in the second shaft end (2") and from which a cable extends axially through the shaft (2) of the rotary feedthrough to an additional plug connection element on or in the first shaft end.
