Abstract:

A rotary food processing device is, in order to enhance safety, configured in such a manner that, when a cutter base (10) is mounted to the device body (1), the output shaft of the motor (2) incorporated in the device body is connected to the rotating shaft of the cutter (15), which is provided to the cutter base, to make the cutter rotatable. The rotary food processing device is provided with: a vertically movable member (23) provided to the cutter base so as to be vertically movable; and a stopper (12) having at least a part thereof provided so as to be movable between an advanced position which is located in the movement path of the vertically movable member and a receded position which is located outside the movement path. When a container member is not being mounted to the cutter base which is being mounted to the device body, the vertically movable member is located at the ascended position thereof at which the motor is not drivable and, at the same time, the stopper is located at the advanced position to prevent the vertically movable member from moving to the descended position thereof.
