Abstract:
A rotary joint (1) has a configuration in which coaxially disposed are a rotating section (1a) that is provided with an axially oriented rotating channel, that is mounted on a rotating shaft, and that advances and retreats in the axial direction, and a fixed section (1b) that is provided with an axially oriented fixed channel, wherein a baffle mechanism (M) is provided that regulates the rotation of a fixed shaft section (8a) around a shaft relative to a fitting hole (7a), and does so in combination with a locking section that holds a rotating seal section provided on the rotating section (1a) and a fixed seal section provided on the fixed section (1b) in a state in which two seal surfaces, of the rotating seal section and the fixed seal section, are in opposition to one another and in contact with one another, by locking the seal sections in the direction of rotation while allowing the seal sections to rotate relatively to one another.
