Abstract:
According to the present invention, a rotary kiln pyrolysis apparatus for rapid pyrolysis of lignin and biomass having a high lignin content comprises: a storage tank (1) for storing lignin; injection devices (2, 3) for transferring, to a pyrolysis reactor, the lignin stored in the storage tank (1); a rotation device (4) for rotating the reactor; the pyrolysis reactor (6) receiving lignin from the injection device (3) and pyrolyzing the same through heating; an electric furnace (5) for applying heat to the pyrolysis reactor; an angle adjustment device (15) for adjusting the angle of the pyrolysis reactor (6); a filler (7) for directly transferring heat to lignin in the pyrolysis reactor (6), and preventing clogging, aggregation, and char foaming phenomena through a hitting phenomenon by means of the rotation of the reactor; a metal filter (9) used as a solid separation means for separating a solid from a gas discharged from the pyrolysis reactor (6); a catalyst reactor (16) for modifying by bringing a gas, having passed through the metal filter (9) and come out, into contact with a catalyst; low-temperature condensation devices (10, 11) for recovering bio-oil in liquid state by cooling a gas having passed through the catalyst reactor (16) and come out; and room-temperature condensation devices (12, 13, 14). The present invention has an advantage of enabling stable and continuous pyrolysis of lignin and biomass having a high lignin content.
