Abstract:
A rotary machine malfunction diagnosis device (10) comprises: an analysis unit (15) that performs time frequency analysis of a signal S which represents the relationship between the strength and time of an elastic wave generated from a rotary machine (1); an extraction unit (16) that extracts second data, which is data representing the relationship between the strength and time of a prescribed frequency component, from first data which is data obtained by performing time frequency analysis; and a determination unit (17) which determines that a first rotor 2 and a second rotor 3 are in contact with each other, if the rotation cycle of the first rotor 2 is T1, the rotation cycle of the second rotor 3 is T2, the ratio of the number of a plurality of protrusions and the number of a plurality of depressions is a:b, and the second data includes a cycle strength fluctuation represented by T1×b=T2×a.
