Abstract:
This rotary machine comprises a rotor, and a resin-moulded stator. The stator comprises a stator core, coils, and moulded parts. The stator core is formed by annularly arranging a plurality of stator core segments. The stator core segments are formed from laminated steel plates, and each segment comprises: a yoke section that forms a part of an annular yoke part; and a tooth part that protrudes from the yoke section. The coils are provided to the teeth parts. The moulded parts cover coil end parts of the coils at both first and second end surface sides of the stator core in the lamination direction in which the steel plates in the stator core segments are laminated. The stator has an annular configuration in which the plurality of stator core segments are annularly arranged, and sections where the yoke sections of the stator core segments are in contact with each other are not welded.
