Abstract:
A rotary machine is provided with a seal device capable of limiting fluid flow through the gap between at least one stationary member and at least one rotating member. The seal device is provided with: a pressure loss body mounted to the stationary member; a first non-contact seal protruding from the rotating member toward the pressure loss body and facing the pressure loss body with a first gap therebetween; a second non-contact seal protruding from the stationary member toward the rotating member, the second non-contact seal facing the rotating member with a second gap therebetween and located on one side of the pressure loss body in the direction of the fluid flow; and a contact seal protruding from the stationary member toward the rotating member and located downstream of both the pressure loss body and the second non-contact seal in the direction of the fluid flow.
