Title:
ROTARY MASCARA APPLICATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/173427
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary mascara applicator, comprising: a power unit (280) for supplying power; a circuit board (270) which is connected to the power unit (280) and which has switch circuits (272, 273); a rotary motor (260) which is connected to the circuit board (270) and which rotates a mascara support rod (220); a mascara cap (230), one side of which is connected to an inner case (240), and in the center of which a hole is formed; said inner case (240), which covers the power unit (280), the circuit board (270), and the rotary motor (260), and one end of which is coupled to the mascara cap (230); said mascara support rod (220), one end of which has a mascara brush (210) and the other end of which passes through the hole of the mascara cap (230), and which is connected to the rotary motor arranged within the inner case (240); an outer case (250) which covers the mascara cap (230) and the inner case (240), and which is spaced apart from the inner case (240) by a predetermined spacing; and an operating button (290) formed on the outer case (250) and connected to the circuit board (270) so as to operate the rotary motor (260). Thus, the mascara support rod (220) may rotate with the rotary shaft of the mascara brush (210) being fixed, an appropriate amount of mascara liquid can be applied to the mascara brush (210), and the rotation of the mascara brush (210) can be maintained at a suitable level enabling a user to apply eye makeup. Further, the rotation of the rotary motor (260) is efficiently transmitted to the mascara support rod (220) and to the mascara brush (210) regardless of the pressing force applied by the user, such that predetermined rotations of the mascara support rod (220) and the mascara brush (210) can be maintained, for each use, within a range for that enables the user to apply eye makeup. The service life of the mascara applicator can be elongated, and a battery can efficiently operate, thus enabling the rotary mascara applicator to be used while requiring a battery to replaced after a longer period of time as compared to conventional mascara applicators.
