Abstract:
A rotary measuring device which can measure the weight of an object more accurately
by taking into account the error of centrifugal force more accurately. The rotary
measuring device (1) comprises a measuring unit (20), a centrifugal force error
calculation block (40), and a weight value calculation block (50). The measuring
unit (20) has a measuring plate (25) and a load cell (27), and the load cell (27)
has a fixed end (18) and a free end (17) for arranging the measuring plate (25).
The centrifugal force error calculation block (40) calculates an angle displacement
θ for the horizontal plane of the load cell (27) in the vicinity of the free
end (17) based on a first measurement outputted from the load cell (27) under a
state where the measuring unit (20) is rotating. The weight value calculation
block (50) calculates the weight value of the object based on the angle displacement
θ, and a second measurement outputted from the load cell (27) under a state
where the measuring plate (25) is receiving the load of the object.
