Abstract:

This rotary switch device is provided with: a terminal device to which a center contact and a fixed contact member are fixed; a movable contact member which, at one end, has a contact protrusion that presses against the center contact, and at the other end, a contact surface contacting the fixed contact member, and which is rotated about the center contact and, at a conduction rotation position, creates a short circuit between the center contact and the fixed contact member; and a bearing unit which is formed on the terminal base and supports the peripheral corner portion of the movable contact member that extends along the rotation direction during rotation of the contact surface. This movable contact member slides on the bearing unit with the peripheral corner portion as the sliding part, and the contact surface moves to the conduction rotation position in which said contact surface contacts the fixed contact member.
