Title:
ROTARY TERMINAL MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/012875
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotary terminal mechanism (1) in which a first conductive ring (14) is inserted, under a slightly collapsed state, between the circular inner circumferential surface (81) of a first outer electrode (8) and the circular outer circumferential surface (71) of a first inner electrode (7) that are arranged concentrically. The first conductive ring (14) is kept contacting the first outer electrode (8) and the first inner electrode (7) by its resilient restoring force. When the first outer electrode (8) and the first inner electrode (7) rotate relatively, the first conductive ring (14) rolls along the circular inner circumferential surface (81) and the circular outer circumferential surface (71) while being kept pressed against these circumferential surfaces by resilient force. Consequently, electrical connection is formed constantly between them even if the first outer electrode (8) and the first inner electrode (7) rotate relatively. A rotary terminal mechanism of simple structure requiring fewer components and being advantageous to miniaturization can thereby be attained.
