Title:
ROTARY TOOL DRIVEN BY BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/008927
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotary tool driven by a brushless motor, which can always appropriately and efficiently perform constant torque tightening work of screws, in which downsizing of the entire device and improvement of torque control accuracy are easily achieved, and conventional problems such as sparks occurring at switch contacts, wear, and negative effects to peripheral electronic apparatuses, electronic circuits, etc. are removed to reduce the sizes of and extend life of constituting components. A lever operation mechanism (20) as a drive switch or first Hall elements (31a, 31b) for detecting each operation of a push scan mechanism (18) and a second Hall element (32) for detecting clutch actuation are installed. Control means (50) is constructed such that a DC brushless motor (12) is rotatingly driven based on an operation signal by the first Hall elements (31a, 31b) and the drive is stopped based on an actuation signal of the second Hall element (32).
