Abstract:
A rotary tool according to one non-limiting aspect has a rod-shaped main body that extends from a first end toward a second end along a rotation axis. The main body is provided with: an outer circumferential surface; a cutting blade positioned on the first end; a first face positioned forward of the cutting blade in the rotation direction of the rotation axis; a discharge groove that extends from the cutting blade and the first face toward the second end; and a flow channel positioned inside the main body. The flow channel is provided with a first opening that is open on the first face. Also, an imaginary extension region defined by extending the flow channel outward from the first opening intersects with the cutting blade.
