Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rotary tool operation condition setting assistance method that enables the operation conditions of a rotary tool to be easily set when changing a tightening method in response to a change in the type of screw, for example. [Solution] This operation condition setting assistance method for a rotary tool 1 is characterized in that: tightening conditions are stored in advance in a storage unit 7p as data classified into an operation mode selection group from which the type of component is selected, a tightening method selection group from which a tightening method is selected for the operation mode, an additional operation selection group from which an additional operation relating to the tightening method is selected, and a final tightening operation selection group from which a final tightening operation is selected; and when selection of at least the operation mode and the tightening method is received, combinations that match data relating to preset prohibited combinations are eliminated and essential setting items for valid combinations are displayed on a setting screen. Due to this configuration, when setting the operation conditions of the rotary tool 1, prohibited combinations can be eliminated and essential setting items related to valid combinations can be revealed and set simply by appropriately selecting an operation mode, a tightening method, an additional operation, and a final tightening operation.
