Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary toothbrush, comprising: a handle portion to be held by a user; a head portion having bristles and connected to the handle portion; a tilting portion formed at the head portion to enable the head portion to tilt upward at a predetermined angle; rotating portions arranged in the handle portion and the head portion to enable the head portion to rotate relative to the handle portion such that a T-shape is formed by the handle portion and the head portion; and a driving portion for driving the head portion such that the head portion rotates and tilts at the same time. The thus-configured toothbrush of the present invention enables a user to brush the teeth thereof in the upward and downward directions and in the left and right directions. Particularly, the bristles of the toothbrush of the present invention may reach the lower portion of the lower front tooth of the user, to thereby prevent formation of dental plaque as much as possible.
