Abstract:
A rotary transformer and a motion encoder. The transformer comprises a sensor stator (100) and a sensor rotor (200) disposed in the sensor stator. An annular soft magnetic core (300) is mounted on a printed circuit board (600) of the sensor stator. At least one linear Hall element (400), a switch Hall element (500), and a winding element (700) with a full polar distance are disposed on an inner wall of the annular soft magnetic core. The Hall element measures a rotation location and the winding element measures a rotation speed. A location signal and a speed signal have the same phase. The motion encoder comprises the rotary transformer, has higher location precision than a conventional electromagnetic-induction rotary transformer, is has no amplitude errors and phase errors, and is insensitive to mounting deviation. The structure and manufacturing process are simple, and a motion encoder with a plurality of output forms can be formed.
